8th World Wilderness Congress

The WILD Foundation of Ojai, California hired KRC to develop and implement a targeted outreach effort to publicize the 8th World Wilderness Congress. The WWC, hosted by The WILD Foundation, is the longest-running international environmental forum in which participants hold debates and take action on wilderness issues.

KRC conducted extensive research on environmental and conservation organizations and publications and succeeded in compiling a list of more than 1,000 groups and publications in the United States and throughout the world. This list was used for an international mailing aimed at generating publicity for the 8th WWC, which took place September 30-October 6, 2005 in Anchorage, Alaska.
