Media & Community Outreach

The Young Men’s Ultimate Weekend (YMUW) is an initiation program for young men, providing them with adult mentoring and male support during their transition from adolescence to adulthood. By empowering young men with physical and mental challenges and providing strong adult male mentors, the YMUW helps young men develop confidence and leadership skills and learn the importance of teamwork through honoring what is RIGHT and embracing the principles of Respect, Intelligence, Gallantry, Humor and being True. KRC was hired in May by YMUW to conduct media and community outreach in the run up to the weekend event in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Outreach results included presentations to the Santa Cruz Youth Services, the Alameda Contra Costa Youth Soccer League, and an interview on KBAY,  which has more than 60,000 listeners throughout the South Bay.
