Jessica Riady, Communications Intern

Jessica joined the KRC team as one of our two 2008 summer interns. She is providing research and project support for a number of our current clients including the Alaska Federation of Natives and the Center for Judicial Excellence.

Jessica was born and raised in La Verne, California, a small suburb just outside of Los Angeles and graduated with honors from St. Lucy’s Priory High School in 2006. In high school, Jessica was Editor in Chief of the award-winning yearbook, The Lumen, President of the National Honors Society, a nationally ranked USAG gymnast, and co-founder of a Friend to Remember, an organization dedicated to advocating Alzheimer’s awareness among teens. Jessica has interned for several companies with a communications and marketing emphasis, including, most recently, Square One Publishing and The San Francisco Education Fund.

Currently, she is an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing a double major in Mass Communications and Political Science as well as a minor in Theater and Performance Studies. Active on campus, she is the Marketing Manager for the Berkeley Undergraduate Journal, a committee member for the International Association of Business Communicators, a tutor and mentor for Stiles Hall and an active leader in her church, Harvest Berkeley.

New to the Bay Area, Jessica enjoys indulging in the vast “foodie” culture and exploring the many sights and sounds the Bay Area has to offer.
