National & International Events

Our team has traveled the globe managing and producing large-scale events, conferences and educational seminars. Whether it's negotiating with overseas contractors, producing conference materials, managing tour logistics or developing creative content for programs, we’ve got the skills and experience to effectively work with diverse cultures in a broad range of countries. Our overseas experience includes:

2001: United Nations World Conference Against Racism --Durban, South Africa
2004:

Leadership Forum -- Anchorage, AK

Indigenous leaders from Greenland, South America and the Philippines participated in this Forum that explored new ways to translate Native leadership to the global community.

2005:

Wild Foundation's 8th World Wilderness Congress

KRC assisted with an outreach effort to bring environmentalists, conservation and indigenous leaders from all over the world to Anchorage, AK for this event.

As part of AFN’s national and international coalition building work, Kathleen Russell coordinated an overseas trip to the U.N. World Conference Against Racism in South Africa for a delegation of Alaska Native leaders and youth.
